Last Rites For Carl A. Burow April 2
Funeral services for Carl F. Burow, 54, of Ida Grove, who died Monday morning March 31, 1958, in the Ida Grove hospital, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 1958, in the Presbyterian church in Ida Grove; with Rev. Merle E. Elrod officiating. Burial was in the Ida Grove Cemetery. Carl Burow, son the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burow, was born July 8, 1903, at Battle Creek. Mr. Burow had been employed as office manager and bookkeeper for the Ida County R. E. A. for 15 years. Prior to that, he was employed by the J. C. Penney Company and the Coast-to-Coast store in Ida Grove. He was a member of the Presbyterian church in Ida Grove and a member of the Masonic lodge and Eastern Star at Battle Creek. Survivors are his widow, Geneva, three brothers; Walter, Fred and Herold of Battle Creek and three sisters, Esther, of Sioux City, Mrs. Harry Kerr of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Andrew Christiansen of Nebraska.
