Mary Jeanne Hemesath, age 75, of West St. Paul, MN, died on February 4, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 11:00 am Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Ave. in West St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to Mass.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cresco, Iowa on February 12, 2025. Mary Jeanne was born on March 31, 1949 in Cresco, Iowa, the oldest of 6 siblings, to DeEtta and Alphonse Hemesath. Mary Jeanne graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1967 and joined the School Sisters of Notre Dame Convent in Mankato, MN.
She later held numerous employments before working for the State of Minnesota where she retired. Mary Jeanne is survived by siblings, Marcia (Tom) Grimm, Maxine (Cletus) Humpal, Mark (Carolyn) Hemesath, Donna (Don) Baumler, Matthew Hemesath and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, DeEtta and Alphonse Hemesath, and nephew Dalton Hemesath.
