MARRIED.

Upton-Volz.
Tuesday morning, Oct. 28, at 9 o’clock a. m., at St. Joseph’s church, Rev. Father J. P. Wagener united Joseph Volz and Rose Upton in the holy bonds of matrimony. They were attended by Miss Kathryn Strief, of Epworth, Iowa, a cousin of the bride, and Louis J. Volz, of Norway, Iowa, a brother of the groom.
After the nuptial ceremonies the wedded pair were escorted to the home of the bride where they and a large number of relatives and friends partook of a bountiful dinner and supper. They received many beautiful and useful presents.
Those who attended the wedding from a distance were: Miss Katharine Strief and Roy Oberfell, of Epworth, Iowa, cousins of the bride, and Louis J. Volz, of Norway, Iowa, Paul Volz, of Greeley, Kansas, brothers of the groom, Mrs. Matt Rocker and two children, Miss Rose Volz, of Greeley, Kansas, sisters of the groom.
