Fueling—Kirkpatrick
The marriage of Dr. J. C. Feuling of Cresco, to Miss Helen Kirkpatrick, of Richland Center, Wis., took place at the home of the bride’s father in Richland Center at high noon, Wednesday, Oct. 15th, 1919. At the appointed hour and to the strains of the wedding march the bridegroom appeared from the right and took his place at the left of Father McKiven and the bride descending from the stairway to the left led by flower girl and ring bearer, took her place to the right of the pastor, who then performed the ceremony which united these young people for life.
They then received the congratulations of relatives and a large circle of friends there gathered to witness and enjoy this beautiful and momentous occasion.
Following the wedding ceremony a four course dinner was served to about sixty guests.
The bridal pair left on the afternoon train for Milwaukee and Chicago and other points of interest on their honeymoon trip.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. John Kirkpatrick, of Richland Center, Wis. She is a very excellent young woman raised in one of the nicest of homes and educated in the best of schools and colleges. For the past two years she has been engaged as music teacher in the Cresco Public schools.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Feuling of Ionia, and well known in this county, where he grew to manhood and received his early education. He then attended the Dental College of the Iowa State University from which he was graduated and has since been engaged in the practice of profession at Cresco, except for the time he spent in the United States Army, it the world war, one year of which he spent on the front in France.
The bridal pair have the best wishes of their friends and upon the completion of their wedding trip will be at home in Cresco, Ia.—New Hampton Tribune.Transcriber’s Note: The groom’s name is spelled two different ways.
