MARRIED.
COLLIS-WATSON.
On Wednesday evening, Nov. 28th at 5:30, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Watson, on Third Ave. E. occurred the marriage of Mr. Raymond E. Collis of New York City, and Miss Emma Lucile Watson. Rev. J. A. Pettit, pastor of the Baptist Church, read the ceremony in the presence of a few friends. After the ceremony a fine dinner was served.
Mr. Collis is a young electrical engineer who is a graduate of the Teachers’ College of Cedar Falls, Ia., and also has a degree from Ames, State College. Miss Watson was one of our best known and most highly respected young ladies, who had college work at Cornell college and for a time taught school, and this happy wedding ended a teaching romance. Her place in church and best kind of social life will be hard to fill. Many beautiful and useful presents were given to the bride.
The happy young people left on the 9:24 train for New York City where Mr. Collis is employed in the electrical engineering business. A side trip to Niagara Falls was contemplated. They are to live in East Orange, N. J., having the best wishes of a large circle of acquaintances and friends.
