The bans of marriage of the following couple was announced at the St. Wenceslaus pulpit on Sunday: Miss Mayme Baker, of Cresco, to Martin Herold of this place.

On Tuesday morning, Nov. 27, at St. Joseph Church occurred the marriage of Miss Mayne{sic} Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Baker living south of town, to Mr. Martin Herold, Rev. Father Wagener officiating. After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents. The young couple will reside at Ft. Atkinson. The Plain Dealer joins with their many friends extending congratulations.

The marriage of Martin Herold, of this place, to Mayme Baker, of Cresco, took place at St. Joseph’s church in Cresco Tuesday morning, Nov. 27. They were attended by Miss Ida Herold, sister of the groom, and Leo Baker, brother of the bride. These young people will go to housekeeping on the groom’s farm near Fort Atkinson. Their many friends here wish them a prosperous and happy married life.
