Married at Lime Springs.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Plummer was the scene of a happy home wedding Wednesday morning when their daughter Alice was given in marriage to Mr. Arthur G. Hicks of St. Paul. Minn. The bride has been a resident of the town for only a few months but during that time has made a large number of friends. Until recently she has been a saleslady in the H. P. Anderson & Co. store. Mr. Hicks is the silk salesman in the “Golden Rule” at St. Paul and is a man of excellent character.
The ceremony was performed at 11:00 o’clock by the pastor of the Methodist Church, Rev. D. C. Perry. Only the immediate families, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Salisbury and Mrs. G. A. Plummer and Miss Mazie from Cresco were present. The company had a delightful dinner together. The absence of the brothers in the country’s service made the occasion the more impressive. The happy couple left on the afternoon train for their new home in St. Paul.—Lime Springs Herald.
