THE ANTE NUPTIAL LUNCHEON.
Miss Florence Beckwith, a special friend of Mrs. Charles Snider, nee Mary Smythe Garvin, invited a company to luncheon in honor of the prospective bride, last Thursday noon.
The table was elegant in all its appointments, and the elaborate menu served in seven courses. The floral decorations, it goes without saying, were exquisite. It was the last meeting of the friends and neighbors with Miss Garvin, who had already issued the invitations for her marriage to Mr. Charles Snider. Hereafter these old associates will meet her no longer as a maiden, but as a young matron.
Miss Florence Beckwith is a delightful entertainer, and the guests will not soon forget the complimentary luncheon. Those present were Mary Smythe Garvin, Helen Ketcham, Faynette O’Kell, Nina Garvin, Jessie Lincoln, Anna Crane, Miriam Woolson, Edna Burd, Irma Hill, Alice McCoy.
