Robert 'Bobby' Harman, 85, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames, Iowa. Funeral services for Robert 'Bobby' Harman will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at the Linn's Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time also on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls.

Bob Harman was the younger of two children born to Floyd & Anna Mae Harman. While still just a young boy, Bob was stricken with polio. Perhaps the challenges he faced growing up sculpted his many fine qualities and made Bob a favorite of family and friends.
Bob was a great story teller. His stories always started with a twinkle in his eye and ended with his own chuckle as he enjoyed these little jokes more than anyone. He had a surprisingly quick wit, great laugh & wonderful sense of humor.
Bob's life was spent growing up and living on the farm. This helped him learn to love and appreciate the simple things in life. He made sure the animals that surrounded him were cared for and well fed. The farm kittens were especially lucky to have Bob watching over them. His cherished companion dog, Fido, who as Bob loved to tell you, "was blind in one eye and couldn't see out of the other" was one of his most precious pets.
Christmas was a special time for Bob. He always enjoyed buying gifts for his family and loved sharing them. The children in the family were special to Bob. He made sure that even the littlest ones were remembered with a toy or game.
Bob loved receiving greeting cards and kept an accurate accounting of who sent them and who did not. He enjoyed his job at IPC in Iowa Falls and was very proud of his perfect attendance and accomplishments. Bob loved his pickup truck and even bought a new one from time to time.
His wide grin, excited high-pitched voice and signatory wave that he shared with his brother, Don, will be greatly missed.
