Death Claims Child.

Harold Guy, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Headley, of Irvington, Iowa, died Saturday, July 3rd, after a sickness of five months. The child was taken sick last February of pneumonia. His sickness continued, developing into several other ailments and finally into spinal meningitis. For the last twenty four days before his death the little fellow was unconscious and did not in all that time recognize his father or mother. Death came last Saturday, and Monday afternoon the family arrived in Jewell with the remains. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Loder, conducted by Rev. Stevens, and interment made in Evergreen cemetery. The little fellow was only about three years old, having been born near Algona, June 8, 1906. In their great bereavement the parents have the sincere sympathy of hosts of friends in Jewell and vicinity.
