Mrs. Katherine Everett.

Mrs. Catherine Everett, the mother of Geo. WW. Everett, of this place, passed away at her home in Davy, West Va., February 23, at 6 o'clock p. m. Mrs. Everett had been for seven years a sufferer from paralysis, being continued to her bed during the most of the time. For the past six years, G. W. Everett, the eldest son, has been a constant attendant at the bedside of his suffering mother.

Mrs. Everett was a native of Hampshire county, West Virginia, where she was born February 11, 1824. She was married to Lewis Everett, and became the mother of twelve children. The husband died 1882, and but six of the children remain to mourn her loss. All were at her bedside at the time of her death.

Mrs. Everett died at the advanced age of 82 years and 12 days, secure in her belief, as a member of the United Brethren church, of a home beyond the skies, where she may meet again the loved members of her family gone before.
