Death of Mrs. S. R. Lingle.

Wednesday night a peaceful death came to release Mrs. S. R. Lingle from the pangs of sickness and invalidism that have kept her a sufferer for over thirty years. Death came as the result of tumorous cancer in the abdominal regions. Dr. Drake and H. P. Davis, both of Webster City, assisted by B. C Hansen, conducted a post mortem over the body. The funeral arrangements are in charge of Mr. B. C. Hansen. A short service will be held at the home at 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church at two o'clock, conducted, if possible, by Rev. Chas. G. Stout. The services at the cemetery will be in charge of the local order of the Eastern Star of which the deceased was a member. Those who wish a last look upon the face of the deceased will have the opportunity to do so Saturday from ten to five at the home. The casket will not be opened Sunday.
