Early in 1916 Mr. Fossum was compelled to give up his position at the depot on account of illness. He then established a dairy business in town, and in 1918 the family moved to Minneapolis, where they have since resided.
The deceased is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. C. A. Sterno, and the latter's two sons, Donald and Roger. Two brothers and two sisters also survive.

Among those who were present at the funeral were Mrs. L. O. Fossum and two daughters, Alphia and Esther, Miss Bertina Ingebritson and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Thompson, all of Minneapolis; Miss Laura Ingebritson of Scarville; Rev. and Mrs. C. A. Sterno and two sons of Clear Brook, Min.; Mrs. I. H. Millang and Margaret of Story City, and Mrs. L. S. Thompson of Ellsworth.
