Frank A. Faro, 62 of Stratford, died Sunday, July 17 at Fergus Falls, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at the McGuire Bend Church with Rev. Dale Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford, and Thursday at the church.

Faro was born Jan. 10, 1926 at Boone, the son of Frank L. and Maude Long Faro. On March 6, 1948 he married Bernadine Brown at Wilmar, Minn. The couple farmed in the Stratford area until retirement. Mr. Faro was a World War II veteran, serving with the Army.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Frank L. of Kamrar; two daughters, Susan Rowleigh of Stratford and Antonina Christianson of Ellsworth; eight grandchildren.

Mr. Faro was preceded in death by his parents.
