Wednesday, August 14, 1991Pearl Lulu Ribbey, 100, a former Webster City resident, died at the home of her daughter, Georgeanna Grill, in Omaha, Neb., on Monday evening, Aug. 12 following a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. at the Boyd Braman Mortuary in Omaha, Rev. Ron Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Webster City at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16.
Pearl Lulu Norton, daughter of William and Sarah (Dutcher) Norton, was born Aug. 1, 1891 in Webster City. She had been a lifelong resident of Webster City. She married Dewey Ribbey on May 28, 1921 in Webster City.
She is survived by her daughter, Georgeanna Grill, Omaha; a son, Douglas Ribbey, Stanhope; 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons and two daughters, four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Ribbey was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and the Rebecca Lodge.
