The Guthrie Vidette reports a revolting case of attempted rape: “Amos B. and William Leonard Goodrell, aged 18 and 20 years, are confined in our county jail for attempting to commit rape upon their sister, aged 22 years. They had a preliminary examination before Squire Hopkins, of Bear Grove Township, where they reside, and were bound over to the District Court for the action of the Grand Jury, and in default of bail they are now living at the expense of the county. From what we can learn they are bad boys, one of them having knocked his mother down a few weeks ago.
