Earl Phelps, residing near Guth-
rie Center, suffered a serious injury
to one eye recently when a piece of
steel penetrated the eye ball, ne-
cessitating the removal of the in-
jured member by a Des Moines
specialist.

Note: Parents of Henry Earl Phelps were Henry W. Phelps and Eva May Woods. He was married to Agnes Christine Schnoor.
