John Needham Died At Iowa City Hospital

John Needham from Morrison died Monday evening at the University hospital at Iowa City, where he was a patient for three weeks. He was 75 years old. The body was brought to the French Funeral Home in Reinbeck where arrangements for funeral services and burial are being made.

John Needham was born Jan. 18, 1886, at Maryville, Tenn. In 1910 he and Vena Allison were married in Tennessee. In 1914 they moved to Grundy county and since that time they lived in the Morrison community. He was a farmer for several years until his retirement in 1953.

The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the French Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Morrison cemetery. Rev. Everett Hawbaker will officiate.

Surviving are the wife, one son and four daughters. The son Jack resides at Morrison. The daughters are Mrs. Elmer Petersen and Mrs. Fred Stearns, both from Reinbeck, and Mrs. Louis Keehn, Grundy Center.
