Requiem mass was celebrated at St Joseph's Church here Saturday morning for Mrs. Susan Freund, 61, by Msg. Dean P Walker. Interment was in St Joseph's cemetery. Bearers were Edwin Peterson, Lloyd Eldridge Dr. R A Telleen, Dennis, Randy, and Jim Graven.

Susan Elizabeth Freund was born on January 31, 1914, at Earling. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Josephine Altman Schramm and was reared at Earling where she attended schools.

She married Edwin Freund in September 1947 at Atlantic The couple lived at Defiance Rockwell City and Lohrville before moving near Jefferson 12 years ago

Death came Thursday, Sept 11 at Jefferson at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and sisters.

Those who survive to include her husband Ed, a son Kenneth of Grand Junction, a daughter Marcella (Sally) at home, three grandchildren two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Agnes) Weber of Linn. MO and Mrs. Marie Nilges of St Louis MO.
