Viola (Vi) Margaret Pearson Eggert Brown was born May 5,1928 to Arthur and Edith (Miller) Pearson in Guthrie Center, Iowa. Throughout life, Vi raised four children: Ruth, Terry, Steven, and Barb.
Between raising her children and running her own barber shop, Vi enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and volunteering with numerous groups. Vi was a member in multiple organizations such as the Methodist Church, American Legion and the Grand Junction Business Women.
Vi passed away October 5, 2021 at Greene County Medical Center. She is survived by her children: Ruth (Raymond) Casper of Colfax, IA; Terry (Susan) Eggert of Colfax, IA; Steven (Jeanine) Eggert of Grand Junction, IA; and Barb (Tom) Owens of Colfax, IA. Grandchildren: Richard Snow, Christopher Snow, Eric Snow, Amanda Snow, Gena Forbes, Ray Casper, Chandra Snow, Joe Casper, Raymond Yoakum, Andrew Eggert, Aaron Eggert, Pam McDowell, Julie Lee, Deb Lukes, Cathy Hines, Tausha Banks, Mary Owens, Chad Lehnhoff, Kiley Davis, and Jeremy Lehnhoff.
Vi is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, six brothers, four sisters, and an infant grandson.
