Scranton (THNS) - Charles Hedges, Scranton farmer, died early yesterday afternoon at the Greene county hospital in Jefferson after a two-month illness.

The body is at the Huffman Funeral home here, awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

Mr. Hedges lived on the old family homestead west of Scranton. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Gotter Hedges, and two sons, Horace and Wayne. A daughter, Mildred, died in May, 1935.
