MILT OWEN

Milt Owen, son of Sam and Amanda Owen, was born December 20, 1876 in Calloway County, Missouri and died at his home in Westboro, Missouri, July 11, 1959 at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 21 days.

Most of Mr.Owen's life was lived in the Hamburg community. On January 1, 1906 he was united in marriage to Julia Gardner at Sidney, Iowa and to this union three sons and three daughters were born. A son and a daughter preceded their father in death.

Heis survived by his wife, Julia, two sons; Forest of Hamburg, a Mack of Aztec, New Mexico, two daughters; Mrs. Harley Morrison and Mrs. Willis Trayer, both of Aztec, N. Mex. Nineteen grandchildren aand seventeen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 15 at 2 p.m. at the Rash Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Melton officiating. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
