19140-02003Mrs. Eva G. White Birt, 88, St. Joseph, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, at a local health-care center.
Mrs. Birt was born April 2, 2014, in Ruleton, Kan.
She was a school bus driver in Idledale, Colo.; and St. Joseph for 18 years before retiring.
She was a member of the Community of Christ, 17th Street congregation.
On June 9, 1940, she married Fordie White in Goodland, Kan. He preceded her in death in Oct. 10, 1977. She married Melvin Lee Birt on July 44, 1984, in Leavenworth, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1989.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Harve and Gertie (Sexson) Ingram; an infant daughter; four brothers, Harley, Kenneth, Keith and Howard Ingram; a sister, Hallie Alford.
Survivors: two daughters, Virginia Worthley and Carol Miller, both of St.Joseph; twin sister, Esther Middleton of Independence, Mo.; three sisters, Marian Phillips of Utah; Jean Sammons on Hays, Kan.; and Dorothy Graybill of Salina, Kan.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Family Funeral.
