Services for Ruth (Roskammer) Taylor, age 84, of Arnolds Park was held August 10 at the Turner Funeral Home in Milford with Rev. John Maylum officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Albro, Harlan Christenson, Don Enderson, Jerry Roskammer, Don Sander and Quinion Taylor.

Ruth Taylor, the daughter of Fred and Theresa Rieffenberger Roskammer was born April 14, 1911, near Calumet. She. received her education in rural schools near Primghar, graduating from Primghar High School in 1929.

She was united in marriage to Herman Taylor on August 28, 1929. Herman and Ruth spent the early years of their marriage farming near Primghar, then in 1944, they moved to Arnolds Park. Ruth had been a resident of Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake since 1985. She passed away there on August 6, 1995.

Proceeding her in death were her parents; husband, Herman in 1994; and one brother, Johnny Roskammer.

Ruth is survived by her son Royse and his wife Joyce of Richardson, TX, and Roger and his wife Linda of Santini, Utah; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Interment was in Okoboji Cemetery in Arnolds Park with Turner Funeral Home in Milford in charge of arrangements.
