RITES PENDING FOR JACOB BOYER,
RETIRED FARMER

Jacob Henry Boyer, 78-year-old retired middlewestern farmer who had lived here about three years, died in a local hospital yesterday after a short illness. Boyer was a native of Illinois. He is survived by two brothers, Charles Boyer of Santa Cruz and Fred Boyer of Lake Park, Iowa; and three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Winters of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Foreston, Minn., and Mrs. Kate Humphrey of Milaca, Minn. Funeral arrangements are pending at Smith's chapel.
