Oral Willis Wilson, 94, of Milford passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Spencer Hospital. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford with Father Tom Flanagan officiating. Burial will take place in the Ewington Township Cemetery in Worthington, MN. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM at the Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home in Spirit Lake on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Oral was born on February 25, 1922 in Clay County to Seifert and Vera (Tuttle) Wilson. He attended school in Spencer. He was united in marriage to Ethel Lowry on February 10, 1949 in Spencer. He worked as an Auto Parts Salesman for many years for Newhall Auto Parts.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Oral enjoyed fishing and reading. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting ducks and pheasants with his brothers. He was a devoted family man. He also enjoyed many family camping trips.
Oral is survived by his wife Ethel Wilson of Milford; children Cheryl (Michael) Gawronski of Springtown, PA; Bernard Wilson of Springtown, PA; Annamarie Hart of Colorado Springs, CO; and Eunice Wilson of Milford; 9 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 5 brothers and a son David.
