Buck Brock, 61, of Clear Lake died of a heart attack there Sunday. The body was cremated, and no services are planned.
Mr. Brock was born in Oakland, Ia., and had lived in Dallas Center 27 years before moving to Clear Lake four years ago. He was a longtime central Iowa radio broadcaster ad a residence director with Benedictine Health Systems. He was a member of Tennessee Squires and Clear Lake Yacht Club and enjoyed snipe hunting and sailing.
He is survived by a son, Bo of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Libby Groves of Pidgeon, Mich.; a brother, Bernal of Rogers, Ark,; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clear Lake Yacht Club Sailing School. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel in Clear Lake is handing arrangements.
