LaVonne Carr, age 85, of Perry, died on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Perry, IA. Memorials will be given to the family and may be left at the Funeral Home. Survivors include her son, Rickey Lee Carr Sr., of Lorimor, IA; daughters, Connie Jo Jackson and husband, Don of Clinton, TN, Deborah Sue West and husband, Dale of Perry, IA, Judy Rae Carr-Zack of Maryville, TN; 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Duane Harris of Sheldahl, IA, and Theo (Ruth) Harris of Farmer City, IL.
