Robert Roy Anderson, 60, died at home Saturday, January 14, 2012. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. at the Loda United Methodist Church in Loda, IL, with burial at the Glen Cemetery in Paxton, IL. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Rob was born on June 11, 1951 in Paxton, IL, to Robert and Helen (Miller) Anderson. He worked in masonry and sales most of his life and at Baldon Hardware in Adel. He married Donna Baltzley Wilcox on April 24, 2004. Rob was a member of Adel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Kyle Anderson of Rockford, IL, Kristin (John) Wright of DuQuoin, IL and Kasey Anderson of Adel, IA; two step-children, Matthew Wilcox of Des Moines, IA and Michael Wilcox of Adel, IA; three siblings, Charlene Kaufmann of Buckley, IL, Teresa (Greg) Schuldt of Sellersburg, IN and Thomas (Melinda) Anderson of Paxton, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for future designation.
