Joseph SlaninaKnow all men by these presents that we Thomas Standeven and Martha Standeven his wife of Boone County State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Five-hundred and forty dollars in hand paid do hereby sell and convey unto Joseph Slanina of Boone County and State of Iowa the following described premises towit, The South half of the North West quarter of Section No twenty two (22) Township No Eighty (80) North of Range No Twenty Eight (28) also the South half of the South half of the North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section No twenty five (25) Township No Eighty (80) North of Range No twenty Eight (28) all West of the 5th PM in Dallas County Iowa and we do hereby covenant with the said Joseph Slanina that we are lawfully seized in fee simple of said premises that they are free from encumbrance that we have good right and lawful authority to sell the same and we do hereby covenant to Warrant and Defend the said premises and appurtenances thereto belonging against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever and the said Martha Standeven hereby relinquishes all her right of dower in and to the above described premises
