Harry F. Copeland
Representative from Dallas county, was born on a farm near Chenoa, McLean county, Illinois. He attended country schools in Illinois; moved to Waukee, Dallas county, Iowa in 1894. Was married to Abbie E. Jones, March 24, 1904, who died January 6, 1926. They had two children, Wilma A. and Ralph C. Has been actively engaged in farming and feeding stock since moving to Iowa. Held office of township trustee for three years and was member of county board of supervisors for six years, of which he was chairman three years. Elected February 7, 1927 to the house of representatives to fill vacancy caused by the death of D.H. Miller. A democrat in politics.
