George Milton Ecklund 1890 - 1922

George Milton Ecklund was born Dec. 1890 in Wheeler Twp, Sac Co. and died May 13, 1922 at the Odebolt hospital at the age of 31 years, 4 months, and 28 days.

He was converted and baptized in the fall of 1912 and became a member of the Arthur Swedish Baptist church of which church he has since been a faithful and worthy member.

He was united in marriage to Miss Naomi Peterson of Des Moines March 21, 1917. This union has been blessed with three children, two daughters and one son.

Most of his life has been spent on the farm. In the fall of 1920 he and his brother Enoch bought the implement business of Kochler and Hanson and in February of last year the family moved to Odebolt.

Mr. Ecklund has been held in highest esteem in all his relations with men, a noble husband and a sincere Christian.

He leaves to mourn him his beloved wife and children, Elaine, Norman and Marian; his mother, Mrs. Lena Ecklund, of Kiron; five sisters, Myrtle Ruth and Arlene of Kiron, Mabel of Omaha and Mrs. Agnes Lewis of Sac City; four brothers, Enoch of Odebolt, Russel, Everett and Theodore of Kiron, Other relatives and many, many friends.
