Funeral services for Marion J. Druivenga, 76, of Arthur, were at 2 pm Monday in the Christenson Funeral home in Ida Grove. He died Friday, 5 July 1985, at his residence in Arthur.

The Rev. Lyle Johnston of the Arthur United Methodist Church officiated with burial in the Hayes Township Cemetery.

Mr. Druivenga was born 24 April 1909 at Hartford, SD. He was a farmer and ran a blacksmith shop in Arthur until his retirement. He married Minnie Wunschel 9 April 1930 in Ida Grove.

Survivors include; his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ladonna) Lalone of Arthur and Ms. Carolyn Bieschke of Kearney, Nebr. Five sisters, Mrs. Jack (Minnie) Hough and Mrs. Calvin (Ruth) Sewell, both of Lytton, Mrs. Katherine Peterson of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Hammerstrom of Arthur, and Mrs. Fred (xx) Kuehl of Ida Grove, one brother, Fred Druivenga of Carroll; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
