Lester Hurley, 82, of Tempe, Ariz., formerly of DeWitt, died Monday in Tempe.
Cremation was in Tempe, with a memorial service to be held later in Milton, Wis. Burial will be in Welton Seventh Day Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 9, 1899, to Mary and Orville Hurley. He married Edna Schwien in 1928. He later married Thelma Peirce in 1958.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; two daughters, Beverly of Bellevue, Neb., and Bernice of New Mexico, three sons Larry and Llewllyen, Both of Bellevue, Neb., and Leland of DeWitt; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
