Funeral services for Laurie Parker, 23, Kansas City, Mo. and formerly of Wheatland, were held Aug. 30 at Big Rock United Church of Christ, with burial in the Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Laurie Parker died Aug. 27 in Kansas City.

She was a child care worker in Kansas City and a member of the church.

Laurie Parker is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Parker, Wheatland; a sister, Mrs. Gary (Darlene) Fox, Camanche; 2 brothers, Virgil Parker, Jr. and Randy Knoche, both of Kansas City and a grandmother, Grace Parker, Burbank, Calif.
