Final rites for Fred Kroh, 77, Wheatland, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, Jan. 14 with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland. Pallbearers were Ferd Kelting, Delmar and Dwane Bentrott, Gaylon Gehrls, Leon Strackbein and Marvin Schroeder. Wilma Riedesel was organist and Mrs. Jerome Patterson was vocalist.

Mr. Kroh died at Wheatland Manor Jan.1 0.

The son of George and Lisetta Riedesel Kroh, he was born in Clinton county March 5, 1907. He was married to Ruby Fox at Wheatland Feb. 26, 1936.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Merlyn and Darrell, Wheatland; 2 granddaughters and 3 sisters, Lydia Bentrott, Calamus, Erna Werling, Davenport and Mrs. Hugo (Frieda) Gehrls, Lowden. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister and a son.
