Janice E. Irving of rural Lorimor, Iowa died Saturday, October 23 at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston. Services will be held Monday, October 25 at the Lorimor Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Hagy and Chuck White officiating the 1:30 p.m. rites. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Ayr.

Janice E. Irving was born January 1, 1936 in Osceola to Myron Coon and Blanche Grimm. She grew up in Murray, attending school there and graduating in 1953. She married Elbert J. [Jay] Irving October 11, 1964 in Hopeville, Iowa and lived in Des Moines until moving to Lorimor in 1973. One son, Kevin Irving was born to this union.

Survivors include her parents and one son, Kevin.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
