LONGTIME LOCAL RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Kelsie Tyler Rites to Be Monday

Funeral service for Mrs. Kelsie Tyler, 83, 917 S. Carolina Place, who died at her home Friday evening following a lingering illness, will be held at the Patterson funeral home Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jordan Ray of Union Memorial Methodist church officiating.

Mrs. Tyler was born in Iowa City April 30, 1864 and had been a resident of Mason City since 1891.

Surviving is her husband, Lewis W. Tyler, 1 son, Thomas of Mason City; 2 sisters, Mrs. Scott Davis, Ft. Dodge, and Mrs. Priscilla Alexander, Chicago and 2 nieces, Mrs. Gladys Fields and Mrs. Joe Thomas, both of Detroit.

Burial will be in the Manly cemetery. The Patterson funeral home in charge.
