DROWNING AT NORTH WOOD.

Young Dane Seized With Cramps While Swimming.

Northwood, June 1. — Sophus Braun, aged 20, a woodworker at the Madson wagon factory, was drowned while swimming in the Shell Rock river here last night. He was seized by cramps as soon as he entered the water. No one was near but small boys.

The body was recovered, an hour later by 'Mayor H. C. Finch, who headed the rescue party.

Braun had been in the United States only about a year. He came from Denmark.
