Mrs. Parham Rites to Be Wednesday

Josephine Bell Parham, 85, died Saturday afternoon at her home, 655 Jackson S. W. She had lived In this community 34 years.

Mrs. Parharn was born March 18, 1869, at Union City, Tenn., daughter of William and Louanna Bell. She was a member of St. John's Baptist Church of Mason City.

Surviving are a daughter, Myrtle Cheatdom, Mason City; two granddaughters, Mrs. Johney (Lola) Rhem, Mason City, and Mrs. Philip (Leota) Martin, St. Louis, Mo.; a great grandson, Johney Rhem Jr., and a great granddaughter, Carolyn Joneida. She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.

Funeral services will he held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Baptist Church. The Rev. A. D. Purnell will officiate. Burial will he at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Patterson-James Funeral Home until noon Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
