Widow Asphyxiated.
MASON CITY, April 2.—Mrs. C. Goodwin, a widow lady living alone at Clear Lake, was found unconscious yesterday rooming asphyxiated with coal gas. She forgot to cover the stove, after putting in coal the night before, and left the dampers tightly closed. She died last night.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Rosannah who was born Sept. 23, 1827 and is buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
