Came to Mason City from Oskaloosa, Iowa, May 1, 1949. St. John's Episcopal church (member of vestry and junior warden). Kiwanis; VFW; Chamber of Commerce; State and National Trade Associations; past president, Junior Chamber of Commerce, 1952; past president, Association of Iowa Cemeteries, 1955; member of board, Cripple Children's Society. Hobby - automotive mechanics.
