Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur (Wanda M.) Ibsen, 80, were held at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, April 10 with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence Conrad, Elmer Schroeder, David Yutesler, Steve Wenndt, William Banks and George Ibsen.

Mrs. Ibsen died at the Clarence Nursing home April 6.

The daughter of Fred L. and Emma Pruess Goldsmith, she was born at Clarence March 24, 1908. She was married to Arthur Ibsen at Clarence Sept. 12, 1925. He died in 1970.

A lifelong resident of Clarence she was a member of St. John's church and the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Darlene) Gade; Clarence; 2 sons, Jamie, Clarence and Bill, West Des Moines; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, 2 brothers and a sister.
