TWO DROWNED IN THE CEDAR
MUSCATINE, Aug 1-- "Stepping off" from shallow water into a twelve foot hole in the Cedar river, Thomas Fitzpatrick, 19 and Earl Gatens, 14, were swept down by the current and drowned Saturday at Cedar Valley, fifteen miles from here.
