A Great Short-Horn Sale.

The closing-out sale of the Cedar Bluffs herd of thoroughbred Short-Horn Cattle will take place at the Fair Ground, Tipton, Iowa, beginning promptly at 12 o’clock – noon, on Tuesday, October 22d. As the sale will take place under a tent, there will be sold at this time, rain or shine, and without reserve, eighty head of fine animals, including Orange Blossoms, Scottish Ladies, Jubilees, Roan Duchesses and other useful families. These animals have been bred with special reference to beef and milk, and can not be surpassed, either in individual excellence or the high standing of the families to which they belong. The lot comprises the entire herd of Drayton H. Gunsolus, Cedar Bluffs, and a draft from that of J. G. Brown & Sons, Solon – either of whom will send complete catalogues upon application. The sale will be conducted by Col. J. W. Judy, the celebrated stock auctioneer.
