Daniel Ridenour Will

Provided by the great, great granddaughter of Daniel Ridenour, it is also on file at the Cedar Co., courthouse.

Known all men present that I, Daniel Ridenour, of the county of Cedar and state of Iowa, of the age of seventy five years and being of sound mind do make, publish, and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say:
All my real estate bounded and described as follows.
The east half of the south west quarter of section six (6) in township seventy nine (79) north of range no. two (2) west of the fifth P.M. containing eighty acres. Also two acres bounded as follows commencing at the south east corner of the south west quarted of the s.w. quarter pf section six (6), township seventy nine (79) of range two (2) west of the fifth P.M. thence north 160 rods thence west 2 rods thence south 160 rods thence east 2 rods to the place of beginning. Also North east quarter of the n.w. quarter of the s.w. quarter of section thirty six (36) township eighty (80) north of range no. three west of the fifth P.M. containing in all one hundred and one acres.
Dividing the above real estate equally and hence sold as ? set forth between my six children as follows:
One sixth to Cyrus Ridenour, One sixth to Nicholas A. Ridenour, One sixth to Margaret R. Fulwider, One sixth to Jacob B. Ridenour, and sixth to Melinda Howe, One sixth to John D. Ridenour. The above land to be sold whenever Nicholas A. Ridenour, John D. Ridenour and Jacob B. Ridenour shall decide to be the most beneficial to the above named children. And I further will and bequest to my children above named, all my personal property and that same be equally divided among them in the manner as above described on the ? to be disposed of immediately or as soon as circumstances will admit of. And lastly I do hearby appoint my sons Nicholas A. Ridenour and John D. Ridenour to be the executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
