Cedar Co 1878 History John is a farmer and was born in Greene co Ohio in 1835. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1843. Married Sarah C. Kester in 1860. She was born in Bucyrus, Crawford co, Ohio in 1840. They have seven children Ida C., John L., Sarah E., Charles H., Florence A., Chester S., and Theodore Hayes. Note* son Earl Leo was born in 1882
