George Neumann, son-in-law of Mr. John Thies, of this township, died at the hospital in Omaha Friday, May 29th shortly after arriving there for an operation. He leaves to mourn his loss eleven children, seven daughters and four sons, John, William, George Jr., Edward, Lena, Mary, Annie, Emmy, Minnie, Manda and Alma. Mrs. Neumann, his wife, died several year ago. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 12 o’clock from his home. We extend our sincere sympathy to the family.
