AT CUPID’S SHRINE

Cards are out for three autumn nuptials, the first two to take place the 20th inst, when Mr. H. F. Hoffman, of this city, and Miss Hattie V. Chetlain, of Galena, will be married at the pleasant suburban home of the bride on the turnpike of that city. The ceremony will be performed by Rev. Dr. Clark, of Galena, assisted by Rev. Henry Elliot Mott of this city. Miss Lillian Knott and Mr. H. P. Svensden, of this city, will be the attendants.Also on the same date at Storm Lake, Iowa, will occur the marriage of Mr. C. F. Smith of this city, and Miss Susan Mills Seidel. Smith for many years has been the road representative of the Smedley Manufacturing Company.
About Oct. 1 will occur the marriage of Mr. Sam S. Kohler, foreman in one of the departments of the Milwaukee shops, and Miss Rose Sherman.
