Suicide at Sumner.
Sumner, Town, Jan. 14.—William Blume, living two miles northwest of Sumner, suicided by hanging himself. About 10 o’clock yesterday morning he was found in his barn hanging to a beam. He was a well-to-do farmer. No cause is given except that he may have been drinking.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 14, 1847 and died Jan. 12, 1899. He is buried in Union Mound Cemetery.
